What is District 13 Love?

Dist. 13 love is the reference to our dedicated volunteers turning an unsightly vehicle into a practical firefighting platform. About 90% of our apparatus is built by our volunteers. It starts with a chassis and a dream. Then, after many volunteer hours and a little help financially from agencies like The Washington State Department of Natural Resources and The Federal Emergency Management Agency, the truck emerges ready to take on the rigorous firefighting duties of our area.
