Black Cat Firefighters Association

The Black Cat Firefighters Association is comprised of the firefighters of Grant County Fire District 13.  It is a not for profit social organization that focuses on firefighter camaraderie as well as raises money to fund special projects the firefighters deem important for the professional growth of Fire District 13.  In addition the association conducts several community betterment projects each year.  A popular example is our Thanksgiving baskets for financially challenged families in the fire district.  The Thanksgiving basket program was started in 2003 and was gifted to 2 families.  The association has expanded the program to now feed 10 families.  The baskets consist of all the essentials for a good Thanksgiving dinner and are hand delivered by firefighters. Since the Association is registered 501c3 non profit group all of our funds come from fundraisers or from donations. The Black Cat Firefighters Association accept donations of all kinds including monetary, estate planning and endowments.
