| The Black Cat Firefighters
Association is comprised of the firefighters of Grant
County Fire District 13. It is a not for profit
social organization that focuses on firefighter
camaraderie as well as raises money to fund special
projects the firefighters deem important for the
professional growth
of Fire District 13. In addition the association conducts
several community betterment projects each year. A
popular example is our Thanksgiving baskets for
financially challenged families in the fire district.
The Thanksgiving basket program was started in 2003 and
was gifted to 2 families. The association has
expanded the program to now feed 10 families. The
baskets consist of all the essentials for a good
Thanksgiving dinner and are hand delivered by
firefighters. Since the
Association is a not for profit group all of our funds
come from fundraisers or from donations. If you
would like to make a tax deductible donation please send
a check or money order to the "Black Cat Firefighters
Association" at PO Box 812 Ephrata, WA 98823. The
association also thanks those individuals who list the
"Black Cat Firefighters Association" as
benefactors in their estate. |
